Get Set for Work staff and participants from Townsville and Ingham visited the Australian Government Jobs and Skills Expo recently. A total of 59 Exhibitors attended this expo with over 564 job and training opportunities across a wide range of industry. Approximately 1435 job seekers attended the event.
Two Ingham 2011 participants that came along to the expo were feeling pretty proud of themselves as they both had just gained jobs on a cattle properties. One in the Northern Territory and one near Kununurra. A great example for other struggling young jobseekers.
