Although this year’s NAIDOC Week is over, we can’t help but keep the celebrations ongoing.
During NAIDOC Week, our team in Mt Isa had their own stall with boomerangs and clap stick painting for passersby so they could take home their own piece of culture. Also on display were artefacts from our Project Overhaul Healing on Country program and items made during YHARS Wellbeing Workshops. It was a great opportunity for QYS to share who we are with the community and for the community to share who they are with us.
A fun, informative day for all. We can’t wait for what next year brings
