Gr8 Expectations Road Safe Program aims to reduce unsafe driving practices in young people aged between 16 and 25 years who are trying to gain a Learners License and achieve their 100 hours for a Provisional Drivers License

The program consists of –

  1. Learner licensing course which covers all aspects of road safety with extra support for people with low literacy skills and concludes with the test for the Learners License at the Dept of Transport and Main Roads on-site testing facility.  Course will take 3.5 days to complete.
  2. Testing fee for Learners License is included in program for eligible applicants.
  3. $30 is deducted off the Learners License cost for eligible applicants.
  4. 3 x Driving Lessons from a Professional Driving School is included in program for eligible applicants.

Eligibility –

If you are between the ages of 16 and 25 years and are –

  • having difficulties passing the Learners licensing test and/or
  • having financial difficulties paying for the fees and charges to gain your Learners License
