We recently celebrated a significant milestone made possible by the help our friends at YWAM Townsville Australia.
Twelve months ago, QYS, particularly our YHARS program, collaborated with YWAM in response to our city’s growing youth housing crisis to provide supported housing to vulnerable youth. This not only helped our young people in need, but also worked to relieve some of the pressue placed on our community’s resources and shelters.
Together, both our organisations have worked to build the capacity of our young people and provide a home that successfully prepares them for the world while creating a healthy environment for them to thrive in.
Now, its officially our 1 year anniversary of working together! We look brightly towards a future where we can continue to provide solutions with community champions such as YWAM and all who have been there along the way.
