Queensland Youth Services is thankful for the many volunteers who selflessly support us by providing their time, skills and energy towards helping our young people achieve their goals.
The impact our volunteers have on our community is immeasurable, however we know the difference they make in the lives of our young people creates generations of positive change.
Current Volunteer Opportunities
Driving Mentor
Program: LearnIT
Location: Townsville
Eligibility Requirements:
- Open Driver’s Licence (held for a minimum of 1 year)
- Blue Card holder (or be eligible to apply)

As of 31 August 2020, the No Card No Start law was introduced which states that a valid Blue Card is required to engage in youth-related activities; a pending application is no longer acceptable. Queensland Youth Services is committed to keeping youth safe and therefore will only consider volunteers who have Blue Cards or are eligible to apply for one.
